Senior Corporate Controller (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• As a central controller (m/f/d), you will perform tasks related to the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including preparing the input data from SAP according to standard specifications, checking it for plausibility and carrying out allocations and distributions.
• You will support the operational planning of the Processing Europe Operating Unit (OU PE) and participate in its preparation and execution. Additionally, you will actively contribute to local corporate planning.
• The creation of standard reports, including checking and clarifying deviations as well as projections, ad-hoc requests and analyses, are also part of the job responsibilities.
• As part of the investment controlling, you are the contact person for the companies of the OU and support and challenge them in controlling-relevant topics.
• They take over the management of the investment/I&R process as well as potentially other performance controlling tasks (e.g. NWC, personnel controlling).
• They collaborate on projects and also assume the role of Financial Owner, create various analyses and participate in the (further) development of rule evaluations and reporting.
• They also create ad-hoc analyses and prepare data in terms of content and graphics.

Your profile

• You have a completed (specialized) university degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
• Furthermore, you have sound professional experience in controlling or in a comparable role.
• Additional accounting knowledge is an advantage.
• They have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS-Excel and Power BI, and possess good knowledge of SAP/R3 and/or S/4HANA.
• They possess strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• You enjoy working proactively with subsidiaries and locations, as well as collaboratively within a team. This requires a high degree of initiative, assertiveness, and communication skills.
• You enjoy occasional travel (throughout Europe) and have good English skills; knowledge of other foreign languages relevant to the associated foreign locations (e.g., French) is an advantage.
