As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data systems, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Implement data integration solutions for diverse data sources.
- Optimise and enhance data models for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Expertise in data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong team connections.
- Fluent German language skills (written and spoken).
