Following the award of a major new semiconductor project in Dresden, Germany, we are seeking experienced Package Managers & Supervisors to join our growing European operations team.

The Role
As a Package Manager / Supervisor, you will take ownership of a defined mechanical or electrical package from installation through to commissioning and handover. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure programme milestones are achieved, maintain the highest standards of safety and quality, and work closely with project management and client representatives to deliver successful outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced supervisors looking to progress into package management or established package managers seeking to work on high-profile international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the safe delivery of assigned Mechanical or Electrical packages from commencement through to completion.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme.
- Manage subcontractors, direct labour and specialist vendors to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively resolve delays or technical issues.
- Coordinate with Design, BIM, QA/QC, Commissioning and Construction Management teams.
- Attend and contribute to daily, weekly and client coordination meetings.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, technical submittals and installation methodologies.
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications, client requirements and applicable industry standards.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries and site change requests.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and system turnover activities.
- Monitor labour productivity and resource requirements.
- Support commercial teams by identifying variations and maintaining accurate installation records.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across assigned work areas.
- Ensure all works comply with company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Assist with preparation of look-ahead programmes and progress reporting.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Trade qualification, Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience supervising or managing Mechanical or Electrical installation packages, Instrumentation & Controls / Small bore pipework experience desirable.
- Previous experience delivering projects within Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Industrial or Commercial sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety legislation.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel where required.
