Regional Account Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Support operational teams to ensure compliance with all customer-specific SOPs and processes while contributing to the achievement of annual performance targets.
• Coordinate and organize Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to customer-specific standards and operational procedures across the network.
• Manage complex Service Parts Logistics (SPL) solutions on behalf of the commercial account owner, ensuring agreed service levels and performance targets are consistently achieved.
• Act as the primary contact for day-to-day operational and service-related matters, including issue escalation and resolution, on-site customer meetings, conference calls, and cross-functional coordination.
• Support the implementation of the annual key account plan and contribute to the achievement of strategic customer objectives.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by analyzing existing logistics solutions and implementing service enhancements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and provide regular reports on cargo movements and operational performance.
• Coordinate cargo bookings with shipping lines and negotiate contractual freight rates with principals and trucking companies.

Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements

Your profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in logistics and freight forwarding operations, including a strong understanding of industry regulations and documentation requirements.
• A degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working with logistics or other market-leading software solutions.
• Proven experience in Account Management, Control Tower Operations, Project Management, and/or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience within the chemical, life sciences, consumer products, or retail industry is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
