What youll build

Were looking for a (Senior) Developer (f / m / d) to help us build the foundational infrastructure for SAPs Business AI. Youll be at the heart of a team that empowers developers to embed generative AI into the enterprise applications that run the this role youll :

Youll design build and operate the highly available cloud services that our AI features run on.

Take full end-to-end ownership of deliverables driving tangible outcomes while mentoring and developing less-experienced engineers.

Build a scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure for running AI workloads using modern technologies.

Develop robust automation and monitoring to support continuous delivery across multiple cloud providers.

Develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies and services to solve tomorrows challenges and keep our platform cutting-edge.

What you bring

Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.

Strong programming skills in a modern programming language such as Go Python JavaScript TypeScript or Java. Go and Python are preferred.

• Proven expertise in applying distributed systems and cloud-native principles to build robust scalable software.

Hands-on experience building and managing CI / CD pipelines container orchestration (like Kubernetes and Docker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP).

Familiarity with agile software development processes.

Fluent English language skills both written and spoken as well as excellent communication skills overall.

Beneficial

Proficiency with modern observability stacks including OpenTelemetry Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus to ensure performance.

Familiarity with (generative) AI and related serving and inference frameworks such as v-llm or llm-d.

Working knowledge of or experience in operating within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI) ecosystem.
