We Are Looking For

A Configuration Engineer is one of the organizations material master data stewards. They are responsible for reviewing new part number requests and ensuring that the product in the same series is aligned all required characteristics are populated and the relationship of the part number to other existing parts is documented. The scope of this role also includes managing the technical library for inspection teams and ensuring the control of third-party proprietary data export-controlled data and data integrity is adhered to.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities)

• Review requests for new parts to be created and populate data appropriate for the part
• Create or adjust existing data governance rules as needed to ensure part number profiles maintain a high level of data quality
• Provide feedback to the manager of data governance when needed to create or align the master data policies
• Use data management tools to ensure data quality levels are achieved
• Review data quality metrics to determine if data governance rules need adjustments
• Adhere to established best practices for material master data quality
• Performs other duties as assigned
