Data Center Engineering Technician

We are seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to support the operation and reliability of critical infrastructure within a modern data center environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring that essential facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect critical infrastructure systems within the data center
• Perform routine facility walkthroughs and equipment checks
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
• Support preventive maintenance and repair activities
• Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors and service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation of operational activities and technical findings
• Follow established safety procedures and operational standards
• Contribute to the overall reliability and availability of data center operations

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, apprenticeship, vocational training, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply structured troubleshooting methods
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
• Ability to work in a hands-on technical environment
