About the Role:

We’re currently looking for a Strategic Customer Advisor (m/f/d) who can translate customer requirements into solutions that are technically and commercially viable. You connect Sales and Delivery and make sure quality, feasibility, effort and risk are transparent and aligned before a contract is signed.

This role deliberately goes beyond traditional pre-sales. You advise CIOs, CTOs and IT decision-makers at strategic customers, develop IT and investment roadmaps and work with Delivery to create standardized, repeatable services.

In this Role you will:

· Translate customer needs into feasible, high-quality technical solutions and act as the bridge between Sales and Delivery.

· Lead technical discovery sessions, analyze customer environments, design solution architectures, and prepare estimates, proposals, and Statements of Work.

· Ensure solution quality, risk transparency, and alignment between customer expectations and delivery capabilities.

· Advise CIOs, CTOs, and other IT decision-makers as a trusted strategic partner, helping shape IT strategies and investment roadmaps.

· Support Sales with technical expertise, demos, PoCs, RFPs, and value propositions to strengthen customer engagements.

· Develop and standardize scalable service offerings, including solution blueprints, pricing models, and reusable architectures.

· Contribute to market positioning through technical thought leadership, such as events, webinars, and customer advisory sessions.

Who you are

· You have a technical degree, comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience.

· You bring at least five years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting within enterprise, cloud, or infrastructure environments.

· You have experience advising CIOs, CTOs, and other senior stakeholders and are comfortable operating at executive level.

· You have strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud, and datacenter technologies, with experience in solution design, sizing, and effort estimation.

· You understand commercial aspects such as pricing models and business cases; experience with standardized or productized services is a plus.

· Experience within a partner or systems integrator environment, as well as knowledge of Broadcom/VMware technologies (e.g. VMware Cloud Foundation), is advantageous.

· You are structured, solution-oriented, entrepreneurial, and take ownership of delivering high-quality results.

· You are fluent in German and confident in English, and you are willing to travel across the DACH region.
