Your mission

Impossible Founders is building one of Europe's most ambitious DeepTech venture platforms. As we launch new ventures, establish new partnerships, and help founders turn breakthrough technologies into companies, there is an endless stream of opportunities, challenges, and projects that need to move forward.

We are looking for an exceptionally driven generalist to work directly with Lena, our CFO/COO and support the broader leadership team across strategy, operations, and venture building. While your primary point of contact will be Lena, you will also support select topics directly for our CEO, giving you exposure to the full leadership agenda.

This role is designed for someone at the beginning of their career who is excited by steep learning curves, broad exposure, and the opportunity to take ownership early on.

The core of this role is acting as the right hand to the CFO/COO, driving projects forward, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. In practice, this means:

• Take ownership of projects from idea to execution across a broad range of topics.
• Research, structure, and solve problems in areas where no clear playbook exists.
• Prepare analyses, presentations, briefings, and decision-making materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate projects across founders, venture teams, partners, investors, and external service providers.
• Help improving internal processes, reporting structures, and organizational foundations as we scale.
• Handle a wide range of operational tasks – from drafting documents and preparing compliance filings to researching automation opportunities and maintaining internal reports
• Support fundraising, partnership development, ecosystem activities, events, and special projects.
• Ensure that important initiatives move forward by driving execution and following through on details.
• Identify gaps and fill them, without waiting to be asked.

What matters most to us

• Evidence of high performance and initiative – whether through academics, work experience, personal projects, or other pursuits.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new topics with limited guidance.
• High level of ownership and initiative.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
• Comfortable working on both strategic questions and highly practical operational tasks.
• Curious, ambitious, and eager to continuously expand your responsibilities.

Additionally, it would be a plus if you bring

• Previous internships or first professional experience in a similar role.
• Work experience in startups, consulting, venture capital, private equity, research organizations or fast-paced environments are a plus, but not required.
• Experience working with KPIs/OKRs or similar goal-setting frameworks
