WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

• In your new role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and monitoring financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and currency risks.
• You will develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks in the treasury environment and manage the related risk management systems.
• Close collaboration with internal departments such as Controlling, Accounting, and Legal, as well as with external financial institutions, is also part of your duties.
• You will furthermore support regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS 9) and contract negotiations (e.g., DRV, ISDA agreements) including their implementation.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• completed degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification
• several years of professional experience in treasury, currency risk or credit risk management, ideally in an international environment
• solid knowledge of credit, liquidity, and currency risks as well as payment operations, preferably with international interfaces as well as experience in DRV/ISDA negotiations
• analytical thinking, a structured working style, and a high degree of personal responsibility, along with strong teamwork skills
• confident use of MS Excel and experience with treasury systems (e.g., SAP, Fireapps)
• excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, German is a plus
