The Senior Hardware Platform Developer for Onboard Power Supplies is responsible for driving the technological development and standardization of power supply solutions across industrial product platforms. The role focuses on developing reusable hardware building blocks, identifying future technologies, collaborating with strategic suppliers, and ensuring alignment across global hardware development organizations.

You’ll make an impact by
- Identify system requirements and define suitable onboard power supply solutions for sensors, HMIs, industrial PCs, control systems, and drive applications.
- Provide technical guidance and expert support to product development teams regarding power supply technologies and architectures.
- Drive standardization and reuse of proven circuit solutions to improve development efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct technology scouting activities in the field of power electronics and power supply systems.
- Represent the power supply domain in cross-functional material and commodity teams.
- Build and maintain a global network across hardware development organizations.
- Act as the recognized subject matter expert for onboard power supply technologies within the organization.
You excel in- Education
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Experience & Skills
- Several years of professional experience in the development of switched-mode power supplies and industrial power electronics.
- Proven track record in power supply architecture design, simulation, and validation
- Experience working in international and cross-functional development environments.
- Driving technology reuse and standardization initiatives
- Ways of working
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of initiative and innovation mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Languages
- Excellent German and English knowledge
