Product Support/Development Specialist (f/m/d)

The position is a permanent appointment under the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Public Sector (TVöD Bund) in Pay Grade 12. Depending on the applicant pool, an additional temporary skilled worker allowance of up to 1,500 euros per month may be considered.

What will your responsibilities be with us?
You will be responsible for maintaining and further developing business applications, in particular the cloud-based HR management platform SAP SuccessFactors and SAP reporting, as well as managing the IT product lifecycle in the SAP environment (SAP ILM).
On an interim basis, you will also support other SAP-related products (e.g., receivables management). In addition, you will be responsible for the planning and development of new IT products.
These tasks require a strategic, solution-oriented approach and a high level of communication and coordination skills.
We work remotely and flexibly. However, the position occasionally involves business travel, including throughout Germany. These business trips are generally planned well in advance to ensure a good work-life balance.
What do you bring to the table?
- Education: A completed university degree (bachelor’s or university of applied sciences degree) in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline. Alternatively, a career qualification for the higher technical service.
- Experience: You have at least 3 years of practical experience in IT and possess in-depth knowledge and experience working with SAP systems (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ILM, and SAP Reporting). You are familiar with collaborating with and managing external service providers, as well as with conducting error analyses in the event of malfunctions and problems. Furthermore, you have knowledge and experience in applying and creating guidelines for the use of cloud solutions (public, private, hybrid), as well as knowledge and experience in using development tools and in IT product management.
- Expertise: You possess knowledge of IT law, IT compliance, data protection, and information security. You are distinguished by your solid command of technical terminology in English.
- Personality: You are characterized by an independent and service-oriented approach to work, as well as a high level of motivation. In addition, you possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a high degree of interpersonal competence.
