Social Media Manager (m/f/d)

As a Social Media Manager, you will take ownership of Westwing's TikTok and German YouTube channels. We're looking for a highly creative and trend-driven person with a passion for digital storytelling, a deep understanding of platform algorithms and internet culture, and the ability to translate brand and product stories into engaging, social-first content. In this role, you'll define channel strategies, identify growth opportunities, develop creative concepts, and collaborate closely with our Creative, Brand, and Production teams to bring them to life. You'll also work with creators and external partners to grow our presence across both platforms. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and execute the TikTok and German YouTube content strategy, and develop social-first concepts that drive reach, engagement, and community growth
• Identify platform trends and turn them into brand-relevant content opportunities
• Collaborate with Creative, Brand, and Production teams to deliver best-in-class content
• Manage content calendars and channel performance across TikTok and YouTube, and work closely with creators and external partners to produce engaging social content
• Analyse performance, derive insights, and continuously optimise content
• Stay up-to-date with platform updates, AI tools, and emerging social trends

YOU COME WITH

• 2+ years of experience managing TikTok and/or YouTube channels as well as developing social-first content and creative concepts
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva or similar tools
• Strong understanding of social media strategy and platform algorithms
• Passion for internet culture, digital trends, and creator economy
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to content optimisation
• Fluency in German and English
