💰 Salary: €80,000–€110,000 + Annual Performance Bonus

My client is developing deployable reflector and antenna systems for European space missions and is looking for an experienced Product Assurance Manager to lead quality and product assurance activities across complex flight hardware programmes.

This is a unique opportunity to shape quality strategy within a growing space company while working directly with executive leadership.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead Product Assurance and Quality Assurance activities across multiple space hardware projects
• Develop, implement and continuously improve PA/QA processes aligned with ECSS, ESA and ISO standards
• Lead the Product Assurance team and define objectives, responsibilities and KPIs
• Drive non-conformance management, audits, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Support Project Managers, Systems Engineers and Work Package Managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor quality metrics, cost of quality and programme performance
• Present regular quality status reports directly to the CEO

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
• 10+ years' Product Assurance experience within the European space industry
• Strong experience with mechanical space hardware (not electronics-only)
• Deep knowledge of ECSS and ESA Product Assurance standards
• Experience with ISO 9001 (ISO 9100 advantageous)
• Hands-on experience with FMEA, RAMS, audits and quality management tools
• Proven leadership experience within Product Assurance or Quality teams
• English (C1); German is beneficial but not required

• Defence or launcher programmes without mechanical spacecraft hardware exposure
• Aviation-only quality management
• Automotive quality
