As Expert IT Consultant Customer Data Platform & Personalization (m/f/d), you take ownership of our CDP capabilities and act as the key technology advisor for customer data activation, audience management, identity resolution, marketing orchestration and personalization use cases.
You bridge business ambitions and technology capabilities, ensuring that customer data becomes a strategic asset driving acquisition, retention, loyalty and lifetime value across all markets and channels.

What you can expect:

Own and Drive the Customer Data Platform Landscape

• Take end-to-end IT ownership of our Customer Data Platform ecosystem and related customer data activation capabilities.
• Act as the primary IT consultant for customer data, audience management, segmentation and real-time activation topics.
• Design scalable and future-proof customer data architectures supporting global business requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between CDP, Marketing Automation, Loyalty, Personalization, Customer Master Data and Digital Commerce platform

Enable Data-Driven Marketing & Personalization

• Consult business stakeholders on customer data strategies, segmentation concepts and activation opportunities.
• Translate complex marketing and personalization requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support the development of next-generation customer journeys leveraging AI, predictive models and real-time customer signals.
• Ensure personalization capabilities across website, app, CRM, loyalty and paid media channels.

Solution Design & Technology Leadership

• Create technical concepts and solution blueprints for complex customer engagement initiatives.
• Assess feasibility, risks, scalability and operational impact of new business demands.
• Align with architects, product teams and implementation partners to ensure consistent technical designs.
• Promote API-first, event-driven and cloud-native integration patterns.

Customer Data Governance & Compliance

• Ensure high-quality customer data management processes and governance principles.
• Support data privacy, consent management and compliance requirements across all customer touchpoints.
• Drive best practices for customer identity resolution, profile unification and audience activation.
• Ensure secure, compliant and scalable usage of customer data throughout the ecosystem.

Product & Vendor Management

• Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to define product roadmaps and priorities.
• Work closely with external implementation partners and SaaS vendors.
• Challenge vendors on architecture decisions, scalability, security and operational excellence.
• Identify market innovations and emerging technologies to continuously improve our customer engagement stack.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure availability, monitoring, supportability and continuous improvement of CDP-related services.
• Drive platform adoption through documentation, knowledge sharing and enablement activities.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for customer data and integration related issues.
• Establish KPIs and performance measurement frameworks for platform success and business value realization.

Innovation & Strategic Advisory

• Act as a trusted advisor for Customer Engagement, CRM, Loyalty and Marketing Technology topics.
• Be up to date and share industry trends in customer data platforms, composable martech architectures, AI-driven personalization and customer engagement.
• Provide recommendations that support HUGO BOSS growth objectives and customer experience ambitions.
• Contribute to the long-term evolution of our Customer Engagement Solutions landscape.

Your profile:

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Consulting, Marketing Technology, Customer Data Platforms or Customer Engagement Solutions.
• Proven experience leading complex customer data initiatives in international environments.
• Strong background in digital transformation, customer experience and enterprise integration.

Functional Expertise

• Deep understanding of customer data management, identity resolution and audience activation.
• Strong knowledge of personalization, customer journey orchestration and marketing automation concepts.
• Experience with consent and preference management, customer data governance and privacy regulations.
• Strong understanding of omnichannel customer engagement strategies.

Technical Expertise

• Ideally hands-on experience with leading mar-tech and CDP solutions
