Description

As Manager Credit & Trade Finance you will have full strategic and operational responsibility for Envaliors global receivables risk management and trade finance this business-critical role you will safeguard the companys financial assets while enabling sustainable business growth by balancing commercial opportunities with effective risk management.

You will lead a small team of specialists responsible for assessing customer creditworthiness establishing risk-based credit control processes and ensuring robust credit limit management across Envaliors global customer portfolio. You will oversee the execution and optimization of trade finance solutions including Letters of Credit documentary collections bank guarantees factoring credit insurance and inventory financing ensuring international transactions are securely and efficiently supported.

In addition you will drive the continuous improvement and digitalization of global credit and trade finance processes to strengthen liquidity optimize working capital and enhance operational efficiency. As a trusted business partner you will collaborate closely with international Sales Treasury senior management banking partners credit insurers factoring providers and external advisors. You will also own global receivables reporting monitor key performance indicators such as DSO and ensure compliance with internal policies regulatory requirements and financing covenants contributing directly to Envaliors financial resilience and long-term success.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Finance International Business or a related field; alternatively a banking background with a relevant professional qualification.
• 510 years of relevant professional experience in international credit risk management trade finance or corporate banking.
• Proven hands-on experience with trade finance instruments (e.g. Letters of Credit bank guarantees documentary collections) and asset-based financing solutions such as factoring and inventory financing.
• Experience in designing and implementing global credit control processes and managing customer credit risk in an international business environment.
• Initial leadership experience or the ability to lead and develop a small team is an advantage.
• Proficiency in SAP or other global ERP systems; experience with digital credit management trade finance or factoring platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to balance business growth and financial risk.
• Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and with external partners.
• Structured proactive and solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
