We are adding a Reporting Analyst Assistant to our team to support a large project for a major German logistics firm. This client relies on us to build the internal systems that keep their supply chain moving, and this role is centered on making sure their data is clean, accurate, and useful for their operations staff. This is a full-time, permanent position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive.

Pixel Systems is a small software agency that builds the tools teams actually use. We do not build flashy consumer apps or marketing sites. Instead, we focus on practical solutions like admin panels, CRM integrations, and the database migrations that most people try to avoid. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a sprawling spreadsheet with a real database or get their different software tools to finally talk to one another. We believe that working code is better than a perfect plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, we do weekly demos, and we hand over everything (the code, the documentation, and even walkthrough videos) when we are finished. We use reliable, well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain.

The Role
In this position, you will assist our developers and the client's operations team by managing the flow of logistics data. Your work will directly support the major German logistics firm we are currently partnering with to modernize their reporting. You will spend much of your time moving data between different systems and ensuring that no information is lost or corrupted in the process. This is not a role focused on abstract strategy: it is about the daily reality of data management. You will help build and update internal dashboards that track warehouse capacity and shipment timing. You will also be responsible for identifying errors in large data sets and cleaning up information so it can be used for monthly reports. The work is steady and requires a high level of attention to the small details that keep a logistics network functional.

What You Bring
  • You have a natural interest in how data is structured and how it moves through a system.
  • You are highly organized and enjoy the process of double-checking work for accuracy.
  • You are comfortable working with spreadsheets and can use basic formulas to organize information.
  • You have clear written communication skills, which are essential for our remote team environment.
  • You are okay with working on projects that are practical rather than flashy.
  • You can look at a large table of data and spot patterns or inconsistencies quickly.
  • You are a reliable professional who takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows through.
Helpful Background
  • Basic familiarity with SQL or how relational databases like Postgres function.
  • Some exposure to GitHub or other version control tools for managing your work.
  • A general understanding of how APIs allow different software programs to share data.
  • Previous experience in a role that required high accuracy in data entry or reporting.
  • An interest in the logistics or supply chain industry and how these businesses operate.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Node, even if it is just from personal projects or studies.
