  • Job Description : In order to support, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a *Senior SAP ABAP Developer (f / m / d)* Airbus Defence & Space is seeking a German-based Senior SAP ABAP Developer (f / m / d) to drive our digital transformation. This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks. Your tasks and responsibilities * Development & Maintenance : Develop, test, and maintain ABAP code while writing technical documentation. * Collaboration & Standards : Work closely with Key Users / Service Owners and apply Airbus development standards and SAP Best Practices. * Optimization & Analysis : Perform root-cause analysis and drive quality, performance, and security improvements. * Future Strategy & Change Management : Contribute to S / 4HANA strategies and ensure compliance within the Change Management process. * Mentoring : Guide, coach, and mentor junior developers within the department. Desired skills and qualifications * Education & Experience : Degree in IT (or equivalent) and 10+ years of practical experience in ABAP programming (S / 4HANA preferred). * Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of OO-ABAP, Adobe Forms, DDIC, BAPIs, IDOCs, OData, Web Services, and Enhancement Framework. * Functional & Extra Skills : Experience in core SAP modules (e.g., FI-CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM) and SAP certifications are a plus. * Soft Skills & Leadership : Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, team spirit, and the ability / willingness to coach new colleagues. * Languages : Strong communication skills in both German (C2) and English are a must.
