We are looking for a Frontend Development Intern to assist in the building and refinement of digital tools that support our commercial advisory work. In this role, you will contribute to a significant engagement for our partner, a major Munich-based entity, by developing interfaces that help visualize complex investment scenarios and counterparty data. This is a fully remote position that requires a balance of technical skill and an interest in how software can support senior-level decision-making. You will work alongside our senior partners to ensure that the logic used in high-stakes negotiations is accurately reflected in the digital products we deploy.

What you will do
  • Develop and maintain web-based interfaces that translate complex commercial data into clear, actionable visualizations for our clients.
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to understand the commercial judgment behind our models and reflect that logic in the frontend user experience.
  • Build responsive and functional components using modern JavaScript frameworks to support our ongoing project for the Munich-based partner.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of small internal tools, from initial concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Ensure that all digital assets are optimized for performance and accessible across various devices, recognizing that our clients often review work in high-pressure environments.
  • Write clean, documented code that follows the team's established standards for maintainability and clarity.
  • Work within a distributed team to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring that our technical delivery remains as reliable as our commercial advice.
  • Help translate static design concepts into interactive prototypes that allow clients to explore different capital deployment scenarios.
What you bring
  • Basic proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a willingness to learn how these tools are applied in a professional advisory context.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend libraries or frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, typically gained through university projects or personal coding work.
  • A strong sense of commercial curiosity and an interest in understanding the business logic that drives counterparty behavior.
  • The ability to communicate technical progress and roadblocks clearly to both technical peers and non-technical partners.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring that data is presented accurately and that the visual presentation is professional and uncluttered.
  • A disciplined approach to remote work, showing the ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines without constant oversight.
  • A logical mindset focused on problem-solving rather than just following a set of instructions.
  • A cooperative attitude and an openness to receiving direct feedback on your work from senior team members.
