Web Developer Intern

We are adding a Web Developer Intern to our team to help build internal systems for a German renewable energy firm in Hamburg. This client needs to move their solar and wind asset data out of fragmented spreadsheets and into a centralized, reliable database. You will work with us to build the admin panels and data management tools their operations staff will use to monitor equipment and manage maintenance schedules. This is a practical role focused on building software that solves specific, daily problems for people working in the green energy sector.

The role
This is a fully remote internship where you will be involved in the full lifecycle of a project. You will spend your time writing code for both the front end and the back end of the renewable energy platform. Your work will include creating forms for data entry, building tables that display real-time asset performance, and helping us map data from legacy systems into our new Postgres database. Since we are a small team, you will see exactly how your contributions fit into the larger system. You will participate in our weekly demos and help write the documentation that explains how the new tools work. This role is about learning how to build software that is predictable, stable, and useful for the people who rely on it to do their jobs.
