Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Key Account Manager for our office in Düsseldorf.

This is a high-impact commercial role for someone who enjoys moving fast, owning customer relationships and turning strategy into results. You’ll work with leading customers across the pharmacy and consumer healthcare landscape, take real responsibility for growth and profitability, and gain exposure to an ambitious international business that is scaling quickly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and develop strategic relationships with key customers across FMCG, pharmaceutical wholesalers, pharmacies, pharmacy cooperations and franchise pharmacy networks
  • Take responsibility for turnover, margin and budget performance across your accounts
  • Build and execute strategic and operational customer plans to drive sustainable sales, revenue and contribution margin growth
  • Prepare and lead annual negotiations with key customers, balancing commercial opportunities with profitability targets
  • Review and further develop sustainable commercial terms and customer conditions
  • Drive targeted promotions and commercial initiatives based on shopper and customer needs
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative customer and sales strategies
  • Monitor market, customer and competitor developments to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner and key point of contact for customers, while coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders across the business

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management, Sales or Commercial roles, ideally within FMCG, consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals or another fast-moving environment
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience managing revenue, margin and customer budgets
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a value-based selling approach
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-focused way of working
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging contacts at different organisational levels
  • Solid customer and market understanding with the ability to translate insights into commercial actions
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
