Pixel Systems is looking for a Graduate Frontend Developer to join our small, distributed team. We recently started a project for our partner, who is a major Munich-based financial services provider. This work involves building the internal tools their teams use to manage complex data sets and client records. Instead of working on flashy marketing sites, you will be building functional, stable interfaces that help these teams do their daily work more effectively.

About Pixel Systems
We are a remote software agency that focuses on building the practical tools that businesses actually use. We do not chase the latest industry trends or build speculative apps. Instead, we concentrate on admin panels, CRM integrations, and database transitions. Our clients come to us when they need to replace outdated spreadsheets with real software or get their different systems to finally communicate with one another. We believe in being straightforward. We provide fixed quotes, perform weekly demos, and hand over everything (the code, the documentation, and walkthrough videos) when we finish a project. We use reliable technologies like React, Node, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain.

The Role
As a Graduate Frontend Developer, your work will center on building and refining user interfaces for our clients. You will take technical requirements and turn them into functional React components. Most of your day will be spent creating clear tables, forms, and data visualizations that make complex information easier to understand for non-technical users. You will also spend time cleaning up existing code and making sure that data coming from various APIs is displayed accurately. This is a fully remote role where you will participate in internal peer reviews and collaborate with our small team to ensure we are shipping high-quality code every week.

What you bring
We are looking for someone who is organized and understands the importance of writing readable code. You do not need years of professional experience, but you should have a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We value developers who are comfortable working on internal business tools and who prioritize logic and clarity over visual flair. If you can follow a technical specification and are willing to ask questions when a requirement is unclear, you will fit in well here. Since we are a remote company, you should be comfortable managing your own time and communicating clearly through text and video calls.

Helpful background
  • Some experience with React or another modern frontend framework from university projects or personal study.
  • Basic familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
  • A general understanding of how to work with REST APIs.
  • An interest in building functional tools like dashboards or data management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of TypeScript or testing libraries is helpful but not required.
  • A willingness to learn how to document code and create walkthroughs for clients.
  • Comfort working in an environment that values plain-spoken communication and honesty.
