Junior HTML CSS Developer

We are adding a new developer to our team to support a logistics firm based in Hamburg. This client handles a high volume of shipping data and needs better internal tools to manage their daily operations. In this role, you will help us build and maintain the user interfaces for their custom tracking dashboards and inventory management systems. This is a full-time, fully remote position focused on creating clean, functional web components that help real people get their work done more efficiently.

The Role
As a Junior HTML CSS Developer, your primary focus will be on the structure and styling of our web applications. Much of your time will be spent turning mockups into clean, semantic HTML and manageable CSS. You will work on layouts for internal dashboards where clarity is more important than flashy visual effects. This involves moving data between systems and ensuring it is displayed in a way that makes sense for the end user. You might be cleaning up legacy code in an older admin panel one day and building a new set of data entry forms the next. Because we work closely with our clients, you will see how your code directly affects their ability to manage their logistics and shipping tasks. This is a paid position, and we offer a salary that is competitive for the entry level market.

What You Bring
We are looking for someone who has a solid grasp of the building blocks of the web. You should be comfortable writing HTML that follows accessibility standards and CSS that is easy for other developers to read and maintain. You should understand how to use modern layout techniques like Flexbox and Grid to build responsive interfaces. Since we are a remote company, being organized and communicating clearly in writing is essential. You do not need years of professional experience, but you should have a portfolio or a set of projects that demonstrate you can build a functional webpage from scratch. We value developers who are okay with not flashy work and who find satisfaction in building tools that solve actual business problems.

Helpful Background
While your main focus will be HTML and CSS, we use a specific stack at Pixel Systems, and familiarity with these tools will help you get up to speed. It is helpful if you have a basic understanding of the following:
