Western Union is looking for a manager to lead the Territory Sales team in Germany.

This position is responsible to manage the team of Territory Executives and Sr. Territory Executives in charge of the relationship with Western Union retail agents in Germany.
As Head of Business Developmen you will be coordinating all agent activities to ensure network and revenue growth, brand awareness and visibility according to the Western Union standards.
The position is based in Berlin and requires a minimum of 30% travelling.
Role Responsibilities
Provides professional leadership and development in the German Region for his / her team (team of 4 direct reports and up to 18 sales employees)
Drives location ramp up for all small to medium sized retail agents across all channels & products
Works closely with his / her Team to ensure continuous growth of the network
Defines agent ramp up plan, monitoring and reporting
Sets up and drives regular and detailed relation management plan for all retail agents according to performance and strategic relevance together with his / her team
Aligns with Head of Marketing to ensure WU Marketing strategy is implemented
Manages agent topics in close cooperation with international teams within Western Union
Reports into Regional Director
Role Requirements
Preferably money transfer with focus on managing small and medium sized companies
Good sales and relationship Management skills
5 years management experience preferably in
Solid knowledge of German market
Proven senior leadership skills and track-record
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills also on an international level
MS office proficiency
Fluency in German and English ( additional languages are nice to have )
