1. Strategic Account Management
· Manage selected strategic customers in Europe across commercial vehicles, construction machinery, passenger vehicles, and other electrification applications.
· Build and maintain relationships across different levels and functions within customer organizations, including R&D, purchasing, project management, quality, strategy, and senior management.
· Develop customer strategies and annual account plans covering current projects, next-generation platforms, and long-term cooperation opportunities.
· Gain a deep understanding of each customer’s business objectives, product roadmap, decision-making process, project timeline, and key priorities.
· Strengthen customer trust in FinDream Battery’s products, technical capabilities, and long-term strategy.
2. Customer Requirement Identification and Translation
· Lead or organize technical discussions, requirement workshops, product presentations, customer reviews, and management meetings.
· Identify both explicit and implicit customer requirements related to cells, battery packs, BMS, thermal management, charging, functional safety, validation, and lifecycle performance.
· Translate customer requirements into structured internal inputs, including requirement descriptions, business context, priorities, timelines, and major risks.
· Work with the Technical Lead to assess technical feasibility, product fit, and business value.
· Ensure that customer requests are understood, clarified, structured, and prioritized before being transferred into the internal organization.
· Avoid acting merely as an email-forwarding interface.
3. Project Execution and Cross-Functional Coordination
· Work in a fixed Account Pair with a Technical Lead and jointly take responsibility for customer and project outcomes.
· Coordinate R&D, product planning, sales, project management, quality, manufacturing, and after-sales resources across Europe and China.
· Track key project milestones, open issues, deliverables, risks, and pending decisions.
· Drive internal teams to provide technical proposals, data, samples, test results, and formal responses on time.
· Proactively manage information gaps, time-zone delays, and unclear responsibilities across regions.
· Facilitate transparent, realistic, and executable solutions when customer expectations conflict with internal capabilities.
4. Product Planning and Market Intelligence
· Collect and analyze customer requirements, technology trends, and future platform plans in the European market.
· Track developments in battery technology, competitors, regulations, subsidies, and the European value chain.
· Differentiate individual customer requests from broader market requirements and identify opportunities for standardized or platform-based products.
· Support regional product definition, roadmap development, and R&D prioritization.
· Produce regular customer insights, market observations, competitive analyses, and product recommendations.
· Contribute to the early definition of next-generation cells, battery packs, and system solutions for the European market.
5. Business Opportunity Development and Customer Lifecycle Management
· Work with the sales organization to identify new business opportunities and support customer strategy and technical communication during acquisition phases.
· Participate in RFIs, RFQs, technical proposals, customer reviews, and nomination-related activities.
· Help commercial teams understand customer decision criteria, while not normally holding sole responsibility for pricing approval or contract signature.
· Continue to manage customer satisfaction, project performance, and next-generation opportunities after project nomination.
· Develop customer relationships beyond individual projects toward long-term platform cooperation and lifecycle account management.
6. Cross-Cultural Team Development
· Build an equal partnership with the Technical Lead rather than a simple front-office and back-office relationship.
· Help Chinese colleagues understand German and European customer communication styles, decision-making logic, and organizational culture.
· Help German and European colleagues understand the structure, development processes, and decision-making mechanisms of the China-based organization.
· Promote direct, transparent, and fact-based collaboration between German and Chinese team members.
· Contribute to the development of scalable cross-cultural working methods, meeting structures, and account-management standards.
