Lead Controller - (Finance)

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Lead Controller to join the Finance team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Be part of the team ensuring Delivery Hero’s financial stability and growth. In the Finance & Investor Relations Team, you’ll provide the insights and analysis that guide our business decisions, helping us meet our financial goals and earn investor confidence. From reporting to strategic planning, your work will have a direct impact on Delivery Hero’s ability to innovate, expand, and deliver outstanding experiences to our customers.

• Drive SG&A Visibility: Build global reports and dashboards to track PEX and NPEX spending trends across the entire Group.

• Implement Anaplan Module: Design and deploy a sophisticated, driver-based NPEX planning module in Anaplan.

• Standardize Financial Data: Define and standardize NPEX cost categories, GL accounts, and functional areas.

• Optimize Costs & Benchmark: Monitor actual spend against budgets, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and drive benchmarking between central and brand teams.

• Partner with Finance Leads: Collaborate with business partners to establish a benchmarking community and drive strategic cost-saving initiatives.

• Support Core Operations: Assist with annual budget planning and intercompany recharge activities to ensure correct invoicing and postings.

Qualifications

• Experience & Education: Degree in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting, with several years of experience in FP&A, accounting, and project management.

• System Expertise: Proven experience with financial planning solutions, specifically Anaplan and advanced Excel.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of recognizing inefficiencies and analyzing data.

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage change and collaborate cross-functionally.

• Work Style: Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to self-motivate in fast-paced environments.

• Language & Collaboration: Fluent in written and spoken English, and a strong team player.
