Position Overview
The Company is seeking a talented and experienced Medical Affairs Consultant to join their team in Germany. As a Medical Affairs Consultant, the successful candidate will serve as a key scientific resource, bridging the gap between clinical development, medical communities, and healthcare professionals in the field of Hematology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in Hematology across Germany, focusing on both academic institutions and major treatment centers
- Provide scientific support and clinical evidence for the Company's Hematology portfolio to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Present clinical data at scientific conferences, medical meetings, and to healthcare professionals, with a focus on Hematological conditions and treatments
- Contribute to the development of medical education programs and training materials specific to Hematological therapies and treatment protocols
- Stay current on developments in Hematology, including new treatment approaches, clinical trials, and competitive landscape in the German market
- Collaborate with clinical development teams to provide insights on real-world clinical applications and treatment outcomes
- Gather and communicate healthcare provider feedback to inform product development and clinical trial design
- Support the planning and execution of advisory boards and other medical affairs initiatives in the Hematology space
Requirements
Advanced degree (PhD, MD) with specialization in Hematology or related field3+ years of experience in medical affairs within the Hematology therapeutic areaStrong understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and current treatment landscapes in HematologyExcellent communication and presentation skills in both German and EnglishDeep knowledge of the German healthcare system, particularly regarding Hematology treatment centers and networksStrong understanding of compliance requirements and pharmaceutical regulations in GermanyExperience in interpreting and presenting complex clinical data to various stakeholdersAbility to travel up to 40% of the time within GermanyProven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in HematologyThe successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing Hematological treatments and improving patient outcomes across Germany.
