As Team Leader Store Design, you will shape and drive the development of innovative global retail concepts across all store formats, creating distinctive brand experiences that bring our vision to life worldwide. Leading a team of designers and collaborating with stakeholders across functions and regions, you will play a key role in defining the future of the HUGO BOSS retail landscape.

What you can expect:

Global Space Design and Development Responsibility for new Retail Concepts across DOS / WHS / SIS / OUTLET

• Supervise the development of new concepts and formats in close collaboration with the Department Lead (Head of Design) and cross-functional teams including Window, Store Planning and Execution, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy and guidelines.
• Create and develop guidance tools and standards for concept execution, supporting internal and external planning teams, global and local shop construction teams, Visual Merchandising and Procurement.
• Lead the preparation of presentation materials together with the Head of Global Store Window Design for board presentations and key sign-off milestones.
• Guide and direct the design team and external resources to ensure successful delivery against strategic objectives and project timelines.
• Lead the design development of flagship and pilot projects in close collaboration with the Head of Global Store Window Design, concept owners and regional shop construction teams.
• Support the implementation of regional training summits across Retail, Shop Construction, Merchandise Management and other business functions.

Conceptualise new methods or processes

• Identify opportunities for concept evolution and innovation, driving discussions with stakeholders to develop consumer-centric and brand-relevant retail design solutions with a focus on ROI and ROX.
• Select, appoint and manage best-in-class agencies and external partners supporting concept and store development initiatives.
• Monitor retail industry trends across physical and digital channels to identify best practices and drive industry-leading innovation in retail design.
• Promote, represent and educate stakeholders on the strategic role of Retail Design as a key touchpoint within the omnichannel customer experience.

Leadership responsibility

• Lead, develop and inspire a team of Store Design professionals, ensuring delivery against defined targets in terms of quality, budget and timelines.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
• Lead by example and actively contribute to the long-term success of the organization.
• Continuously improve processes, ways of working and team effectiveness.
• Drive a holistic and strategic approach while balancing creative excellence with business objectives.
• Empower team members through delegation, coaching and ownership.
• Act as a role model in line with HUGO BOSS values and leadership principles.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, interior architecture or similar
• Proven track record in leading and directing retail design concepts from ideation through to execution
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in store design and execution for a premium fashion brand
• Leadership experience of team and cross-functional teams
• Instinctive feel for design and aesthetics
• Passionate about design innovations and a good intuition for trends
• Good knowledge of architecture software tools
• Excellents influencing and communication skills towards various interfaces on different management levels, including board level
• Ability to provide design direction and visual guidance effectively and with a strong point of view and design vision
• Reliable execution experience with in-depth technical understanding in local construction works and furniture production
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all relevant stakeholders (externally as well as internally)
• Fluent in English; German language skills are considered a plus.
