Tentative End Date: This is a contract role. The project is expected to run through July 31, 2026, but could be extended based on project needs

Rate: $33.00/hour

Position Description:

Moderators are the primary field personnel responsible for conducting data collection sessions at approved commercial venues. Moderators wear and operate client-provided capture devices while performing natural, venue-specific activities simulating common everyday activities.

Training will be hands-on and interactive, conducted by the client team remotely during the onboarding process.

Main Responsibilities:

• Wear and operate client provided capture devices at approved commercial venues, recording image, video, audio.
• Perform venue-specific simulated activities per the approved Study Protocol and Operations Manual.
• Prepare and secure each venue prior to data collection in accordance with Clients SOP
• Off-load all collected data from the client devices to the-provided, password-protected external SSD hard drives, and copy data to a designated backup external hard drive
• Upload preview data to the client-specified platform while still onsite at the venue or within 4 hours of completing data collection and exporting data from devices
• Confirm data quality and action any feedback received
• Perform daily inventory checks and verify all the client equipment is present and in good working order
• Triage onsite any issues with clients devices or equipment used in Study procedures
• Ensure secure storage and transport of all client Study equipment to and from the client team’s facility and data collection venue each day
• Represent and promote the TELUS International AI brand

Required Qualifications:

• 24 months of Study Moderation experience
• Demonstrated experience conducting in-person research or data collection sessions
• Experience with video and audio recording equipment and data handling
• Must be technically savvy
• Ability to troubleshoot and triage onsite technical issues independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with progress tracking and reporting (DC Daily Reports, Adverse Incident Reports)
• Experience working across multiple venue types
• Experience working under strict confidentiality and security conditions
