Aerospace Engineer Program Manager (m/f/d) - Amphibian Aircraft

Your mission

As Program Manager, you will take ownership of the program from planning through execution. You will bring people, priorities, timelines, and budgets together to keep the program on track and moving forward.

• Shape the program: Build and drive the integrated schedule, set priorities, and ensure successful execution.
• Keep things on track: Monitor progress, costs, and budgets, identify risks early, and take action when challenges arise.
• Bring teams together: Coordinate communication across engineering, management, authorities, and suppliers.
• Drive decision-making: Set clear priorities when conflicts occur and ensure that everyone is aligned on the way forward.
• Stay close to the product: Participate in key Design Reviews and follow program-critical technical and supplier topics.
• Keep leadership informed: Provide concise program updates, executive summaries, reports, and presentations to Top Management.
• Make an impact: Report directly to the Managing Directors and play a key role in shaping the successful delivery of the program.

Your profile

You are an experienced aerospace professional who enjoys taking on responsibility, bringing people together, and turning ambitious ideas into reality. You combine technical expertise with a strategic mindset, a hands-on approach, and a passion for innovation.

• You hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Design Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• You bring 10+ years of experience in aerospace or avionics projects and have a strong understanding of complex development environments.
• You are driven by ambitious goals and motivated by delivering outstanding results.
• You think strategically, see the bigger picture, and turn complex challenges into clear priorities and practical solutions.
• You enjoy working with and leading multicultural, interdisciplinary teams, creating an environment where people can contribute their expertise and ideas.
• You are curious, forward-thinking, and innovative, with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
• You have a hands-on mentality and are ready to get involved, tackle challenges directly, and turn plans into action.
• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are energized by the opportunity to improve processes and find better ways of working.
• You are a confident and inspiring communicator in both English and German, able to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
