About the role:

As Director, Pricing, you will define and lead the pricing strategy for Redcare Pharmacy’s retail business, operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, advanced analytics and technology. Your primary mandate is to continuously improve how we price products and transactions, balancing profitability, revenue and customer price competitiveness at significant e-commerce scale.

You will set the direction for an even more scientific, dynamic and data-driven pricing approach and ensure that pricing decisions translate into measurable business impact. Beyond our core retail platform, your scope will also extend to the further development of marketplace and own-brand pricing.

The role has a broad strategic stakeholder landscape. You will work closely with senior leaders across Category Management and Country Management, as well as Data & AI, Controlling, Marketing and Procurement. You will also partner with Tech and Product teams responsible for our webshop and underlying capabilities, ensuring that pricing strategy, data and technology evolve together.

About your tasks:

• Own and advance our core retail pricing strategy: Define how Redcare Pharmacy approaches pricing across its e-commerce platform, balancing profitability, revenue and price competitiveness and translating strategic priorities into measurable commercial outcomes.

• Build a scientific and dynamic pricing approach: Raise the analytical standard of pricing through robust experimentation, A/B testing, modelling and validation. Establish clear methodologies for understanding causality and measuring the incremental impact generated by pricing decisions.

• Drive pricing at scale: Develop the frameworks and decision logic required for increasingly dynamic, real-time pricing, ensuring our approach can respond effectively to customer behavior, competitive movements and changing commercial conditions.

• Shape decisions across the business: Establish pricing as a key input into decision-making across Commercial, Controlling, Procurement Tech and Product, aligning stakeholders around the trade-offs and opportunities behind pricing decisions.

• Set the direction for the Pricing function: Lead and develop a growing team of 9+ pricing professionals, set a high analytical bar and represent pricing with senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

About you:

• You bring 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with deep expertise in B2C e-commerce pricing and at least 3 years in a leadership role. You have worked with digital commerce products at significant scale, ideally in an environment comparable to Redcare Pharmacy’s 14.5 million active users.

• You combine strategic thinking with deep analytical and quantitative expertise. A strong background in mathematics, analytics, data science or related discipline enables you to challenge methodologies, understand the underlying data and confidently assess the validity of pricing experiments.

• You understand dynamic pricing in high-volume e-commerce environments and are comfortable with pricing that changes in real time. You can demonstrate how sophisticated pricing strategies, experimentation and analytical models have translated into measurable improvements in profitability, revenue and/or customer price competitiveness.

• You have the seniority to influence a broad cross-functional stakeholder landscape, both across business functions and at Managing Board level, while remaining sufficiently close to the analytical detail to challenge your team and communicate pricing decisions at Board level.

• Fluent English is required; German is an advantage, but not a requirement.
