Business Development Manager - Commercial Growth (m/f/d)

As a Business Development Manager - Commercial Growth at Westwing, you will establish processes from scratch, lead cross-functional strategic projects, and derive growth initiatives from complex data analysis. This role offers a steep career development path where you take complete end-to-end ownership of projects from initial planning through cross-functional execution and roll-out, keeping timelines and stakeholders aligned throughout. Working closely with senior management and a dynamic, diverse team, you will serve as a central driver of operational efficiency and commercial excellence. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive strategic cross-functional projects, such as the coordination of our international expansion within the Commercial area, owning end-to-end planning, execution, and roll-out

• Deliver business-critical insights through advanced data analysis, using proven hands-on analytical experience to solve ambiguous problems and guide executive decisions

• Transform how we operate by designing planning tools, automating Retail Campaigns processes, and reinventing core workflows to unlock efficiency and scalability

• Keep Westwing competitive by analyzing market trends across key growth levers, including sales incentives, assembly services, and gift card programs, to identify high-impact revenue opportunities

• Influence outcomes at every level by partnering with stakeholders across departments and business models, ensuring insights land with clarity and drive real impact

YOU COME WITH

• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, business development, or corporate strategy, preferably within an e-commerce or digital environment

• Strong analytical abilities, with a track record of translating complex datasets into actionable business insights (proficiency in Excel is a must; SQL, or BI platforms are a plus)

• Proven project management expertise, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and balance competing priorities end-to-end

• A pragmatic, hands-on mindset, combining strategic problem-solving with a strong bias for execution and measurable results

• Excellent communication skills, with full fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to build trust across diverse teams
