We're looking for a Chief of Staff who works closely with Nik to structurally build out our company- & org processes.

• Team: Founder's Office

Is this a match?

The most important basics – so we both know if it could work.

• Location: You’ll be based at our office in Cologne (Belgisches Viertel) and should be on site at least twice a week.
• Experience: You have 5–8 years of experience in strategy & operations and feel confident in your role.
• Languages are no problem: You speak German and English fluently.
• Your connection to football: You're genuinely interested in amateur football and have a feel for what moves this community.
• Start-up spirit: You prefer to play an active part in shaping things rather than just going through the motions – even if that sometimes means tackling things without a ready-made roadmap.

What you'll do - your playing field

This is how you move our mission forward every day.

• You own selected strategic and operational projects end-to-end. You take projects from the initial idea and concept through planning and execution to measurable results.
• You build and continuously improve our core company processes. You create clear structures and scalable ways of working that help the organization operate more effectively as we grow.
• You work closely with Nik on cross-functional strategic projects and priorities. You bring different teams and perspectives together, create clarity on what matters most, and make sure important initiatives move forward.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also:

• Supporting process optimization in other operational areas as needed
• Preparing decision-making materials and analyses for the founder team

What you bring to the team

We're not looking for a perfect CV. But you should recognise yourself in these points.

• Process & Structure: You think in processes and structures, quickly bring clarity to complex or ambiguous situations, and know how to turn them into pragmatic ways of working.
• Project Ownership: You have experience independently driving projects from idea to execution in a fast-growing environment and are comfortable taking responsibility for both strategy and implementation.
• Tools: You are confident working with Notion, project management tools, Google Workspace, and Slack and use them effectively to create transparency, structure, and efficient collaboration

• This role is significantly more hands-on than the title might suggest: you don't just plan, you execute, and take ownership across shifting topic areas. The exact focus will be sharpened further together with the team. If you're looking for pure strategy work without hands-on execution, this role isn't for you.
