About the Role
We transcend traditional financial services to alleviate intricate financial responsibilities for high-net-worth (HNW) clients, establishing a solid foundation of trust, transparency, and sustainable intergenerational security. As an Estate Planner / Generation Manager within our Wealth Consulting practice, you will counsel private clients and family offices on advanced wealth succession, asset transfers, and multi-generational estate governance.
Partnering directly with key client advisors, you will oversee sophisticated client mandates (~50 cases per year) while actively contributing to the scaling of our regional Estate Planning division. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Deliver sophisticated estate and succession planning strategies tailored to multi-generational wealth safeguarding goals for high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Structuring Solutions: Determine optimal legal, fiscal, and organizational frameworks—incorporating corporate foundations, strategic gifts, and asset transfer structures—to maximize long-term asset protection.
- Joint Client Engagement: Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with Private Banking managers and senior wealth advisors on complex, high-value client engagements.
- Business Development: Generate fee-based advisory revenues (Honorarbasis) and maximize share-of-wallet across core regional client portfolios.
- Process Innovation: Introduce strategic concepts, contemporary planning technologies, and progressive ideas to continually optimize the advisory framework and service offerings.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Relevant Experience: 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in wealth structuring, estate succession planning, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or a Family Office setting.
- Domain Knowledge: A robust foundational grasp of wealth conservation principles, asset transfer tactics, or German inheritance and gift tax concepts.
- Soft Skills & Articulation: Advanced German fluency (C1+ standard) combined with deep empathy, diplomatic finesse, and exceptional communication talents required to guide sensitive family discussions.
- Openness to Development: High enthusiasm to pursue specialized professional designations (such as Certified Estate or Financial Planner), fully coordinated and financed by the firm.
- Location Presence: Capability to operate under a hybrid work model across the Lake Constance area and execute local client consultations.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Completed banking apprenticeship (Bankkaufmann), a university degree in Law, Finance, or Economics, or existing Estate Planner credentials.
- Practical background utilizing Microsoft 365 alongside digital financial and estate-planning applications.
