VP Marketing (m/f/d)

We're at an exciting stage of growth: around €5m ARR, with strong foundations in DACH, new products in market, and international expansion underway. Marketing now has the opportunity to become a major growth lever for the business connecting brand, demand generation, product and sales into one commercial engine.

We’re looking for a senior, commercially minded marketing leader to build and scale Ordio’s marketing engine for the next stage of growth.

You’ll own Marketing end to end, with clear accountability for pipeline, new ARR and efficient growth. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Sales and Product to sharpen our positioning, scale acquisition, improve conversion, and expand a successful GTM motion into new European markets.

The opportunity is to build the next version of Ordio’s marketing organisation and grow with the company toward a true CMO level role as Ordio scales toward €20–50m ARR.

Tasks

• Own Ordio’s marketing strategy, budget and operating cadence, with a clear focus on pipeline, customers, ARR, CAC and payback.
• Build and scale a measurable demand generation engine across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, organic, content and SEO.
• Go deep into campaign performance, creative, landing pages and conversion — not just manage agencies or dashboards.
• Own the full funnel from first touch through Closed Won, including lifecycle, CRM, nurture and conversion optimisation.
• Sharpen Ordio’s positioning and messaging, translating an increasingly broad product suite into simple, differentiated customer value.
• Raise the bar on brand and creative quality while maintaining strong commercial accountability.
• Work closely with Sales on shared pipeline and revenue goals.
• Partner with Product on launches, self-service, trials, PLG experiments and conversion loops.
• Build the right team, processes, reporting and agency/freelancer setup as the function grows.
• Help internationalise Ordio’s acquisition engine and establish repeatable GTM playbooks for new European markets.

Requirements

• Significant in house experience in B2B SaaS / software.
• Experience scaling a SaaS company through a comparable growth stage, ideally somewhere between €3–10m ARR and €15–30m+ ARR.
• Strong experience with high-volume SMB / Lower Mid-Market acquisition, rather than only enterprise ABM.
• A proven ability to generate measurable pipeline, customers and revenue through marketing.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Google, Meta and LinkedIn, ideally having owned meaningful budgets of €100k+ per month.
• Strong command of CAC, CPL, conversion, payback, pipeline economics and ARR.
• A full-funnel mindset: you think from acquisition through Closed Won, not just MQL generation.
• Strong understanding of brand, positioning, messaging and creative quality alongside performance marketing.
• Good understanding of content, SEO, lifecycle, CRM and conversion optimisation.
• Experience working closely with Sales on shared revenue targets and Product on launches, PLG and positioning.
• Experience leading and developing a marketing team while remaining willing to go deep into campaigns, numbers and execution.
• A genuine builder mentality: you’ve built or materially improved teams, processes, reporting and acquisition engines.
• Fluent German and business-fluent English.
