• provide prediction and analysis of product attributes at the whole system/platform level
• gather, manage and disseminate requirements from/to a range of internal and external customers
• provide data to sub-systems for product design and development
• define and manage system and product interfaces
• provide insight into product/aircraft interaction
• provide insight and analysis of real world operation and customer usage
• manage relationships with internal and external customer

• hold Bachelor's degree or Master's in Engineering or regional equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience
• have strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and have an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition
• have knowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks
• are a member of a relevant professional body appropriate to region
• have attained or are working towards Chartered status (or an equivalent regional qualification)
• have good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organisation
