To help lead this journey, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing (m/w/d) Germany.

This is not a traditional marketing leadership role.

We are looking for someone who challenges the status quo, questions established ways of working, and brings fresh ideas to how we attract customers, build our brand, create demand, and engage the market. Someone who sees opportunities where others see constraints and who thrives on turning bold ideas into measurable business impact.

As a member of the German Management Team, directly reporting into the MD of SD Worx Germany, you will help shape the future direction of the business while leading the transformation of our marketing function

You will lead the German marketing organization and own the end-to-end marketing agenda across demand generation, brand, communications, digital marketing, events, and public relations.

You will have the autonomy to shape the German marketing agenda, within the broader SD Worx brand, strategy and governance framework. You can draw on the expertise, platforms, tools and programs of our central Brand & Marketing organisation where they add value while having the freedom to make the choices that are right for the German market.

You will be expected to:

• Challenge existing approaches and introduce new ways of thinking.

• Experiment with innovative go-to-market strategies and campaigns.

• Create marketing programs that stand out in a crowded market.

• Leverage technology, AI, digital channels, and new engagement models to drive growth.

• Create a clear go-to-market approach that connects business priorities, target audiences, propositions, channels, customer journeys and commercial execution.

Your Impact

Success in this role goes far beyond campaign execution. You will:

• Define and deliver the German marketing strategy.

• Build a strong commercial partnership with Sales while bringing an independent marketing perspective to challenge assumptions, sharpen priorities and create realistic, joint growth plans.

• Strengthen SD Worx's position as a leading voice in the HR and Payroll industry.

• Champion customer centricity and ensure customer needs are at the center of every marketing initiative.

• Inspire and develop a high-performing team and agency network.

• Bring the customer and market perspective into the German Management Team and actively shape business decisions, not just marketing decisions.

You bring a strong understanding of the full marketing mix: proposition, pricing, routes to market and promotion and know how to connect these to create commercial impact.

You believe creativity is a growth lever, not decoration, and know how to turn a strong insight or idea into disproportionate market impact.

You likely bring:

• Significant experience in B2B marketing leadership.

• A strong track record of driving business growth and market impact.

• Experience transforming functions, teams, or go-to-market approaches.

• A customer-first mindset.

• A builder's mindset: comfortable creating structure where it doesn't exist, testing what works, and changing course when it doesn't.

• The confidence to challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder commercial environment

• Strong people leadership

• Experience creating and executing go-to-market strategies

• Proven experience building or transforming a marketing function

• Fluency in German and English.
