WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

This internship will provide you with a unique place to acquire deep insight on corporate and financial markets. Therefore, it constitutes a gateway for international opportunities. As part of the M&A team, you gain experience and work on projects across our German-speaking client base:

1. Assisting senior bankers on creating M&A business opportunities
2. Creating transaction marketing materials, including roadshow presentations and pitch books
3. Conducting industry and company research and analysis
4. Gaining varied industry and transaction expertise, as well as staying current on industry developments
5. Participating in the preparation and execution of transactions
6. Gaining an understanding and developing company valuations and financial models

EXPERIENCE

Ideally, first work experience gained (preferably in activities related to M&A, corporate banking coverage).

EDUCATION

Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics).

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

1. Motivated, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, a team player.
2. Highly proficient in spoken and written German and fluent in English.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Commitment to Banco Santander’s high ethical standards.

Our internships last preferably at least six months. The precise period will be arranged individually. Please attach a copy of your supporting documentation in English and indicate your availability.
