Your future contribution

As a Working Student in the Finance department, you'll play a key role in supporting the Finance team by ensuring timely month-end and quarterly closings. You'll gain insight into how invoicing, cash collection, and cash optimization impact business performance, allowing you to contribute to the company's overarching goals.

Our team is a data-driven strategic hub within HomeToGo; we welcome any complex business challenges and combine analytics with strategic initiatives that keep HomeToGo at the forefront of the rapidly evolving vacation rental space.

How you’ll add value :

  • Your main responsibility will be to support the Finance Manager in daily tasks, including bank reconciliation, managing expense reports, and handling Intercompany charges.
  • You will participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • You will support reporting tasks to our CFO, such as cash flow reporting.
  • You will have the chance to collaborate with Business Development managers to optimize processes, such as standardizing the dunning and invoicing process, particularly by automating outreach, progress tracking, and working with tools like Salesforce.
  • You will get opportunities to participate in Finance Projects, including topics related to IFRS, M&A, and ERP rollouts.
  • You will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge by working with SAP Cloud and other tools that are standard in the tech industry.

You’ll be successful in this role if you :

  • Are a team player who also enjoys the opportunity to work independently and be empowered.
  • Are reliable and well-structured.
  • Like to discover and try out new tools (Salesforce, JIRA, SAP Hana cloud, Lucanet, Circula, MOSS)
  • Have analytical skills and enjoy working with numbers.
  • Has basic knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
  • Fluent in German; proficiency in English is a plus.
