Department Z5 “Information Technology” ensures, through all its services, that the operation and further development of information technology, as well as the electronic maintenance of drug data at the PEI, are carried out while ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of all data at the PEI. In doing so, Division Z5 follows the best practices of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Your Responsibilities Ensuring the continuous operation of the document management and workflow system DMS/VBS (Fabasoft eGOV-Suite and Mindbreeze) Administration, monitoring, maintenance, and further development of servers and databases, including updates and troubleshooting Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of system and application issues to troubleshoot problems, as well as performing updates and version upgrades Programming, as well as the creation and customization of scripts and databases Planning, monitoring, and support of interfaces Primary responsibility for developing concepts to implement organization-wide requirements (customizing) Independent technical implementation of concepts by creating workflows, submitting requests via the request portal, and setting up workflows and forms Support for the internal user help desk and second-level support Leading communication with external service providers regarding troubleshooting and customization options Creating and maintaining documentation Our Requirements Completed degree from a university of applied sciences or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics, or a comparable degree (with a technical component), or comparable relevant vocational training in the IT field (including proven, long-term professional experience in the IT environment) Several years of general IT experience, particularly in the administration of server-based business applications and server operating systems (Windows Server, SUSE Linux) Knowledge of the entire application lifecycle (from planning to troubleshooting) Programming skills, particularly in JavaScript Knowledge of creating and working with relational databases and SQL Experience with system networking, interfaces, and web services (REST/SOAP) is desirable Experience with container services is a plus Knowledge of electronic file and document management as well as digital workflow management is advantageous Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to take initiative Strong ability to work in a team and willingness to learn new subject areas Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English What We Offer is a varied and challenging position centrally located in the Rhine-Main region with good access to public transportation (highway, airport, S-Bahn).
