The Bavarian Administrative Court is seeking, to start as soon as possible, a Administrative IT Specialist / Business IT Specialist (m/f/d) for the Digitalization Unit The Bavarian Administrative Court of Appeal, headquartered in Munich with branch chambers in Ansbach, is the highest administrative court in Bavaria and the appellate court for the six Bavarian Administrative Courts.

The administrative judiciary ensures legal protection guaranteed by fundamental rights and thus the legality of government action.

It encompasses many professional fields and areas of activity and therefore offers a wide range of career development opportunities.

The Digitalization Unit directs IT development for the Bavarian administrative judiciary and the Bavarian State Public Prosecutor’s Office and manages the specialized systems in use.

It serves as the central point of contact for the ICT departments of the Bavarian Administrative Court and the administrative courts, as well as the liaison to the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sports, and Integration and the data centers of the Free State of Bavaria.

Work location: Munich Willingness to travel to support the locations of the administrative judiciary is required.

1 Your primary responsibilities: Collaborating on the further development of the electronic court file, specialized court applications, and the components of electronic legal communications Coordinating the technical implementation of specialized applications within the Bavarian administrative court system Collaborating on the planning and coordination of changes to organizational workflows with regard to the capabilities of specialized applications and other technical components Design and implementation of specialized test scenarios in coordination with the ICT departments Conducting training sessions within the Bavarian administrative judiciary, developing instructional concepts and training materials, as well as e-learning courses Participation in nationwide working groups and project teams focused on the further development of specialized court applications and IT infrastructure Your Qualifications: Successfully completed degree (Bachelor’s, Diplom [FH], or vocational academy) as an (administrative or business) IT specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable degree program Alternatively, a successfully completed IT vocational training program with several years of relevant professional experience, e.g., as an IT specialist (m/f/d) We expect: In-depth knowledge of the Windows environment (client and server) Basic knowledge of databases and programming (Java, PowerShell) Knowledge of Java application servers and S3 Object Store is a plus Experience in IT project management Commitment, organizational skills, communication skills, ability to work in a team, and a service-oriented mindset Ability to solve problems independently Strong ability to think abstractly; results-oriented, independent, and responsible work ethic Willingness to travel for work Good written and spoken German (German language proficiency at least at the C1/C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; see ) If you hold a foreign degree, please submit the appropriate documentation proving its equivalence to a German degree.

If the appropriate responsibilities are assigned and the collective bargaining requirements are met, there is potential for advancement up to pay grade 12 under the TV-L.
