In this key position, you will play a pivotal role in further developing our specialized strategy for artificial intelligence and actively shape the digital transformation of our city administration. You will develop and optimize the specialized strategy for AI with the goal of making administrative processes more efficient and sustainably improving the user-friendliness of digital services for citizens.

In doing so, you will analyze and evaluate current AI trends with regard to their applicability in administrative workflows and for our citizens. Together with the IT architecture team, you will evaluate new technologies and expand the strategic roadmap for implementing AI solutions. In addition, you will address inquiries regarding regulatory issues and help ensure compliance, data protection, and security by optimizing internal processes.

Another key focus of your work is knowledge transfer: Through training sessions, workshops, and presentations, you will promote the competent use of AI and data within the city administration and foster a modern, digital culture of innovation. What You Bring to the Table a successfully completed Modular Qualification for positions starting at A14 (MQ4) or a career qualification for the third qualification level of the specialized career track in Natural Sciences and Technology, with a focus on administrative informatics, confirmed by a note in your most recent periodic evaluation, or a career qualification for the third qualification level of the specialized career track in Administration and Finance with a confirmation note in the most recent periodic evaluation, or a successfully completed master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field, or a successfully completed master's degree* and extensive (at least three years) relevant professional experience in the IT sector with the rollout of AI and data strategies or processes for complex environments following successful completion of the required qualification *In this case, the City of Munich will assess equivalent skills and experience in accordance with the TVöD pay scale.
