As a Data Context Engineer (f/m/d), you are the key player to master this challenge. Building on our state-of-the-art Data Mesh, you will industrialize the bridge to our intelligent agents. Your mission is to create the structure, knowledge, and reliability in the data foundation so that our AI vision can become a reality - combining data engineering with agentic engineering to make enterprise context, tools, and governance scalable for AI systems.

You’ll make an impact by

• You will industrialize the knowledge base of the AI: You design and implement robust, scalable architectures for context, memory, and tool integration, which enable our agents to reliably execute complex, multi-stage tasks across multi-agent orchestration, MCP, and A2A-based interaction patterns.
• You will act as an internal consultant and sparring partner: You will actively advise our AI lab and the business departments, analyze where missing context limits the performance of our agents, and develop targeted solutions at the data level and in enterprise workflow integrations such as Google Workspace and related SDKs.
• You will function as an interface between the AI lab and the data world: You will translate the demanding requirements of our AI researchers into stable, scalable data architectures and thus ensure a smooth flow of information with a strong focus on AI governance and model risk management.
• You will build the semantic backbone of our Data Mesh: You will model highly networked data and knowledge models using dbt, the dbt Semantic Layer, Python, and Knowledge Graphs. Based on this, you will develop semantic views in Snowflake and leverage Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex Analyst to create a machine-readable knowledge layer that serves as a "single source of truth" for our AI.
• You will define the gold standard for AI data quality: You will establish sophisticated evaluation and benchmark processes to systematically ensure the consistency, accuracy, and trustworthiness of the information on which our agents operate including LLM tracing, lineage, data catalog integration, and internal AI benchmarks.

• Education
• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a comparable discipline.
• Experience & Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, AI, or related fields, with a strong understanding of building solutions beyond prototypes.
• Solid expertise in Python, SQL, data modeling, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Practical experience with LLMs, agentic systems, and AI application development; GraphRAG experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Master Data Management, and vector databases is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges and communicate solutions effectively to diverse stakeholders.
