Working student IT

Role Overview

Based at FMC’s headquarters in Dresden, the Working Student IT (m/f/d) will play an active role in supporting our IT operations and digital workplace environment. From user support and device management to onboarding new employees and improving IT processes, you will gain broad exposure to modern IT practices. You will also help implement and administer innovative cloud-based solutions, including project management and CRM tools, while contributing to the digital transformation of a leading semiconductor company.

Must Have

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT or a comparable discipline
• Enthusiasm for IT support, digital workplace solutions and cloud technologies
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A structured, reliable and proactive working style
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• Good English language skills

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and administration of cloud-based solutions using no-code platforms and AI-assisted ("vibe coding") development approaches
• Provide first-level IT support and help employees with technical requests and troubleshooting
• Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and workplace equipment
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by setting up and managing IT accounts, devices, and access rights
• Maintain and continuously improve the IT asset inventory and related documentation
• Assist with the administration of Microsoft 365 services, including user and license management
• Support incident resolution, ticket handling, and general IT operations
• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives and help promote IT security best practices across the organization
• Identify opportunities for automation and support the optimization of IT processes and workflows
• Assist with the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of meeting room and collaboration technology
