About this role

As Senior Marketing Manager Social Media in Germany, you’ll lead how our brand shows up across organic social and through creators and influencers. Reporting into the Head of Brand Germany, you’ll shape and execute our Social Media and Influencer strategy, driving cultural relevance, consideration and preference while supporting our broader brand and business goals.

You’ll act as the Social Media Editor-in-Chief for Germany, setting the direction for our social storytelling and coordinating the full organic content and editorial calendar, while also owning our Influencer and Creator ecosystem. You’ll connect always-on content, creators, key brand campaigns and cultural moments into one integrated Social ecosystem.

You’ll own our relationships with our Social Media & Influencer agency, steer always-on content production, build and evolve our creator ecosystem, extend high-impact brand campaigns and activations through Social and ensure our channels and creator partnerships reflect what audiences care about in real time.

This role blends strategy and execution, perfect for someone who lives and breathes Social & Creator culture, understands how brands can participate meaningfully in culture, and knows how to translate audience behaviour into powerful narratives and creative executions.

As part of the Brand team, you’ll collaborate closely with Brand Campaigns, Brand Activations, Media, PR, Commercial teams and Customer Service to ensure Social and Influencer are tightly integrated into everything we do.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Organic Social and Influencer strategy and execution for Germany, setting a clear vision for how the brand shows up culturally, creatively and through creators.
• Act as Social Media Editor-in-Chief: own the editorial direction and content calendar across our organic channels, connecting always-on content, creators, campaigns and cultural moments into one coherent Social ecosystem.
• Own and evolve the Influencer and Creator strategy for Germany, defining the role creators play across always-on activity, major campaigns, partnerships, football and cultural opportunities.
• Build and develop a distinctive Creator ecosystem, working with our Influencer agency on creator identification, briefing, activation and longer-term relationships.
• Fully own and manage the relationships with our Social Media and Influencer agency, from strategic direction and creative quality through to day-to-day operations.
• Oversee always-on content production, publishing and community activity, ensuring high-quality, timely, culturally relevant and platform-native output.
• Partner closely with Brand Campaigns and Brand Activations to translate major campaigns, partnerships and experiences into compelling Social and Creator-led executions.
• Identify proactive and reactive cultural opportunities where Lieferando can participate credibly and build relevance with audiences.
• Shape and evolve our channel strategies, content approach, creator formats and Social playbooks based on performance insights, audience behaviour and platform developments.
• Lead budget tracking, forecasting and reporting across Organic Social and Influencer activities.
• Establish clear Organic Social and Influencer KPIs and reporting structures, turning performance and audience insights into continuous improvement across content, creators, formats and channel mix.
• Partner with Brand Campaigns, Brand Activations, Media, PR, Commercial teams and Customer Service to ensure Social and Influencer are integrated, responsive and aligned with broader brand priorities.

What you’ll bring to the table

• Extensive hands-on experience managing Social Media, Influencer or Creator Marketing for recognised consumer brands, either in-house, at an agency, or both.
• Strong understanding of how Organic Social and Influencer Marketing work together as one connected ecosystem.
• Deep cultural awareness: you understand how people use different platforms, what they care about, how trends evolve and how brands can meaningfully participate.
• A strong understanding of creators and influencer culture, including what makes creator partnerships credible, distinctive and effective.
• A natural feel for content: you know what works on each channel, why it works and how to adapt brand storytelling to meet audience expectations.
• You have a great instinct for brand voice and know how to bring it to life across Social and Creator content, shaping tone and personality so the brand feels consistent, distinctive and culturally fluent.
• Strong ability to lead agencies, build strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute at pace.
• Experience owning editorial planning, content calendars, channel strategies, Creator programmes and day-to-day community presence.
• Proven hands-on experience with common Social Media management and measurement tools and the use of data for decision-making.
• Strong cross-functional skills, comfortable aligning stakeholders and integrating Social and Influencer seamlessly into campaigns, partnerships and brand moments.
• Excellent project management, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, agencies, deadlines and dependencies.
• Strong communication skills in German and English. German is mandatory.
