Senior Paid Social Manager

Job Description

As a Senior Social Paid Media Manager, you will be responsible for leading and scaling paid social campaign operations across major European markets.

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end campaign lifecycles—from strategic planning and technical campaign setup to real-time monitoring, deep-dive data extraction, and dynamic optimization—to maximize campaign ROI across key platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and X.

Bridging paid media activation and advertising technology, you will operationalize campaign workflows and tracking solutions across enterprise platforms. This includes a working knowledge of ad tagging and social trafficking workflows to ensure seamless campaign delivery, robust measurement, and quick issue resolution. As a Senior Manager, you will also act as a team mentor, training and supervising junior managers while fostering operational best practices



Primary Job Duties

• End-to-End Campaign Execution: Oversee media planning, technical ad setup, ongoing campaign pacing, advanced bid/budget management, and performance reporting across social platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
• ROI & Performance Maximization: Extract, analyze, and synthesize raw performance data to conduct structured A/B testing, audience segmentation, and algorithmic optimization to continuously improve CPA, ROAS, and overall ROI.
• Ad Trafficking & Tagging Oversight: Supervise and execute end-to-end ad trafficking processes, ensuring creatives, click tags, and third-party tracking tags are correctly implemented; oversee site
• tagging requirements (coordinating pixel/CAPI parameters and tag management logic via GTM or similar tools) and structured UTM naming conventions.
• AdTech Tool & Workflow Operationalization: Implement and govern internal and client-facing AdTech platforms, automation tools, workflow management systems, taxonomy tools, and conversion tracking solutions to safeguard data integrity and delivery efficiency.
• Cross-Channel & Programmatic Alignment: Integrate paid social tactics within broader digital media plans, collaborating closely with programmatic teams by leveraging practical working knowledge of DSP ecosystems (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon Ads / AMC)

What you'll bring

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in paid social media planning, execution, and performance optimization within a media agency, AdTech company, or high-growth brand.
• Proven track record of managing multi-market, large-scale budgets on Meta and TikTok with a laser focus on ROI/ROAS delivery.
• Practical background in managing ad trafficking cycles, tag verification, and QA procedures for digital campaigns.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring, onboarding, and training junior to mid-level media managers.

Technical skills

• Expert-level proficiency in native social buying platforms: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and X.
• Foundational to intermediate working knowledge of Ad Trafficking & Tagging: Familiarity with creative trafficking, click trackers, third-party ad tags, site tagging principles (GTM / basic pixel implementation), and UTM taxonomy management.
• Solid functional command of AdTech infrastructure: tracking pixels, Conversions API (CAPI), product catalogs, verification tools, and campaign workflow software.
• Strong data analytical capabilities (Excel, Google Analytics 4, BI/dashboard tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau).
