Technical Specialist Customs & Export Control (m/f/x)

Dual-use goods, war weapons list items, ITAR-controlled parts, aircraft flying in and out. You are the person who makes sure it all moves, legally and on time. Your Responsibilities Analyse aircraft components, equipment and accessories, and prepare the corresponding technical documentation Classify predominantly technical aviation goods (dual use, AWV Annex I, German War Weapons Control Act) under the customs tariff (EZT, TARIC) Maintain material master data for foreign trade and process documentation in SAP and Teamcenter Classify goods under US law (ITAR, EAR) Run goods classification across different national legal frameworks in large new contract projects Handle general customs and export control tasks Own the customs clearance and release processes across several domestic and international sites Manage clearance and reporting for inbound and outbound aircraft Classify products according to export control lists Carry out sanctions list screening and embargo monitoring, and monitor export control measures across all sites Your Profile Completed technical training in electrical engineering or mechatronics, ideally with a background in aircraft construction or design (desirable, not a requirement) Several years of professional experience in the areas described above Further qualification in customs and foreign trade, ideally in classification and product classification (desirable, not a requirement) A strong eye for technical detail Analytical way of working and a feel for processes Confidence in dealing with customs authorities and other licensing bodies Business Fluent in English and German What We Offer We are a dynamic company with short decision-making paths and an open-door culture.
