IT Trainer and IT Administrator (m/f/d)

We are an efficient and forward-looking social security service provider with more than 3,600 employees. As a regional branch of the German Pension Insurance, we are responsible for the administrative districts of Upper Bavaria, Lower Bavaria, and the Upper Palatinate. At our locations in Landshut and Munich, we serve as a competent and reliable point of contact for approximately 2.9 million insured individuals, employers, and 1 million retirees.

To strengthen our IT department, which currently comprises approximately 200 employees, we are seeking a

IT Trainer and IT Administrator (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities in the Training Program:

• Practical, specialized training and individual support for our junior staff in the dual degree program in Business Informatics as well as in the apprenticeship for IT Specialist (m/f/d) in System Integration
• Design, creation, and further development of practical teaching and learning materials, such as instructional videos
• Imparting technical knowledge as well as assessing and monitoring individual learning progress
• Independently supervising and reviewing training assignments and projects
• Helping to organize welcome events and introductory seminars for new trainees
• Design, implementation, and supervision of practice-oriented training projects

Taking on responsible administrative tasks in at least one of the following areas:

• Administration and operation of server operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Maintenance of relational database systems (Oracle/MS SQL Server)
• Administration of directory services and identity and access management systems (Microsoft AD/LDAP)
• Maintenance and further development of the public-key infrastructure
• Planning, design, and operation of complex network environments
• Installation, maintenance, and operation of server applications
• Automation of IT processes using scripting languages
• Administration and operation of container orchestration environments

Your Profile:

• A successfully completed college degree in computer science or a comparable field of study
  • Alternatively, completed IT training combined with relevant professional experience in the described areas of responsibility, or
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the described areas of responsibility (if the requirements are met based on several years of relevant professional experience without a college degree, the salary grade will be one level lower)
• In-depth knowledge of both practical technical training and at least one of the listed IT administration areas
• Ideally, experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Perl
• Enjoyment of teaching complex IT topics and fostering the professional and personal development of junior staff
• Strong teaching skills and a keen sense of individual learning needs
• Analytical and logical thinking skills, as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Initiative, organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility
• An independent, reliable, and meticulous work style
• Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a willingness to engage in continuous professional development
