IT Technical Sales & Operations Manager

An international software company is seeking a Technical Sales & Operations Manager for its European operation in Düsseldorf.

You will combine technical sales with the management of service delivery, working closely with customers and international teams. This role offers the opportunity to help develop operations with the company’s growing development and support teams in India.

Main Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ business needs and technical requirements
• Provide technical proposals and negotiate software development requirements with customers
• Work with development teams to agree suitable solutions
• Manage the development team at the company’s overseas operation
• Coordinate with CRM development and customer support teams
• Oversee the delivery of services to customers
• Monitor project progress and coordinate the resolution of issues
• Maintain communication between customers and internal teams

Ideal Candidate

Required

• Sound knowledge of software development, with the ability to discuss technical matters with customers and developers
• Experience in technical sales, technical consulting or a customer-facing role within the software industry
• Experience managing teams or coordinating software development projects
• Ability to work effectively with international teams
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes within a growing operation

Desired

• A background in software development followed by experience in sales or customer-facing roles
• Development or implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics or CRM systems
• Development experience with C# / .NET, JavaScript or related technologies
• Experience presenting developer tools or software products to technical customers
• Experience overseeing both sales and service delivery
• Experience working with development teams in other overseas locations
• Experience establishing a new office, team or operational function

Conditions

• Location : Düsseldorf, Germany
• Working Style : hybrid
• Salary : approximately €80,000–€100,000 in the first year, including bonus, negotiable depending on experience
