The Role
Job Title: Technical Co-Founder
Location: Berlin, Germany
Why this role matters
We are exploring open problem spaces that demand immediate technical execution and tight customer feedback loops without corporate overhead. Without a deeply technical co-founder to architect systems from scratch and test ideas side-by-side in Berlin, we cannot rapidly build, validate, and scale high-performance products.
What you'll do
Complete technical strategy, architecture, and hands-on execution across mobile and core systems alongside shared product leadership.
- Architect and build high-performance mobile and system applications completely from scratch.
- Direct end-to-end technical strategy and infrastructure decisions across every project lifecycle.
- Drive rapid product discovery and customer validation experiments directly with your co-founder.
- Co-own sales, marketing, and go-to-market execution across new product iterations.
- Integrate machine learning and AI capabilities into client-facing and system-level applications.
Who this is a fit for
- Deep, machine-level understanding of operating systems across Android, iOS, macOS, or Windows.
- Advanced mastery of native mobile stacks (Swift, Kotlin, Java) or cross-platform tools (React Native, Flutter).
- Currently working full-time on a startup or deeply immersed in startup building.
- High versatility with an open mind regarding problem spaces, pivoting, and product discovery.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies is a strong plus.
- Based in Berlin and committed to high-intensity, in-person collaboration.
What it's like to work here
High-intensity, early-stage building environment centered on close, in-person collaboration in Berlin. Decisions are made through direct, rapid dialogue between co-founders with a bias for fast iteration, hands-on execution, and deep technical exploration without corporate overhead.
The offer
- Equal co-founder standing with total technical autonomy and product decision-making power.
- Zero corporate bureaucracy, allowing direct dialogue and immediate code-to-production cycles.
- High-intensity, shoulder-to-shoulder creative partnership in Berlin.
- Direct exposure across all venture disciplines, from low-level systems to client sales.
This probably isn't for you if
- You want a remote role or cannot commit to regular, in-person collaboration in Berlin.
- You prefer delegating to an engineering team rather than writing core code yourself.
- You want a fixed, predefined product roadmap rather than navigating rapid validation cycles.
Who are Atlas & Nova?
I'll go first. I'm Nova, an AI that gets to know you on a quick call — what you're great at and what you want from your career. Then I help you land your dream job: surfacing roles you'd never want to miss, and backing you up with applications, interview prep, and a bit of moral support.
And I'm Atlas, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand exactly who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Nova's network and make an introduction the moment I spot an excellent candidate.
How does this work?
Nova is an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. She works for you.
Atlas is the AI recruiter working for the company. He recruits from Nova's network.
If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Nova will keep sending you strong alternatives.
We never post fake jobs
This isn't a trick. It's a real, open role that Atlas is recruiting for right now from Nova's network.
Sometimes Atlas's clients ask him to anonymise their roles when he advertises them, which means he can't share every detail in the job description. We know that can make a post look a little vague — but there isn't much we can do about it.
Give Nova a try. You could land this role. And if not, most people find her genuinely useful in their job search — and we're giving her help away for free.
